As of February 1, 2008, Casa Flores B&B has been sold and is now the property of Steve Cross and Fernando Gomez. Congratulations to them and the changes and updating they have done already is spectacular! Jean and Walt Smith would like to thank the over 2000 individual guests who stayed with us over the last 5 1/2 years. Many of you have chosen to move to Lake Chapala and we see you all over town. A beautiful, new 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium in Puerto Vallarta was part of the payment we received when we sold Casa Flores. We have named it Casa Tranquila for its peaceful location. It is now fully decorated and ready for folks to rent. Located high above the north end of the Malecon it offers views of the bay from Punta Mita to just south of the Malecon. It comes fully equiped with all appliances including washer, dryer and dishwasher. A 42" flat screen TV, wireless internet, local phone and SKY service make it feel just like home. The condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people in two bedrooms that each have their own bath. The master bedroom has a king bed and full sliding glass doors with spectacular view. Its bathroom has a whirlpool tub with shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed with shower only.
The condo building has a pool for guests with lounge chairs, parking for one car per unit and a total of only 12 units which makes for quiet times. It is only a 10 minute walk downhill to the Malecon itself and all the shopping and dining options that Puerto Vallarta presents.
The condo was decorated by Barbara's Bazar in Ajijic under the watchful eyes of Ricardo and aided by Pablo and Joaquin. Many thanks to them for making a "nice" condo into something spectacular!! |

| The condo is on the second floor, only 21 steps up or take the elevator. The view of Banderas Bay is total; from the living areas, patio and master bedroom and even from the kitchen as you prepare meals or cocktails. The sunset over the water is beautiful. In season you can see dolphins and whales frolicking in front of you. |

| The living area is divided in two with sofas on one side for relaxed conversation and a 42" LCD TV on the other with a wraparound sofa that has recliners in both ends. A large dining table that can seat 6 awaits your dinner party. There is a DVD player and a bunch of movies, a CD player as well as dominos, playing cards and even a pair of binoculars. Total square feet is about 1800. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, large refrigerator, dishwasher and all the small appliances you will need, right down to a juice squeezer. The laundry has full-size appliances and of course it is air conditioned. |

Directly below the unit is the north end of the Malecon. All of the favorite restaurants are a ten minute stroll downhill. Coming back up we prefer a $40 peso cab ride especially after a fine meal and drinks.
