The Casa Flores website has again morphed and is now dedicated to our two condos on Los Muertos Beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The temptation is to call them Casa Flores I and II but for ease of reservations we will call them by their numbers, 402 and 403. Jean and Walt Smith (that's us) have traded their large condo that had a beautiful view of Banderas Bay for two smaller units that are about as close to the beach as units go in Vallarta. Identical except for paint colors and decorations they are 550 square feet of space in a studio configuration. They are located in the Casa Corazon Hotel and B&B complex on Calle Amapas in the Romantic Zone of Old Vallarta. They are in the new building that was completed in 2005, not the old B&B section that some remember. The building is completely modern and built of poured concrete and steel, no cinder blocks here! The above map gives the exact location and note that we are on the widest stretch of Los Muertos Beach. We have been coming here for 15 years and finally were able to actually own something that we have been enjoying all these years. Our plan is to split time in Houston and Vallarta and have the best of both worlds. We will offer both units for rent in the winter season and plan to use 403 from roughly April 15 to October 15 each year. We will have friends and relatives visit during that time also in 402 but it may well be available for various dates during the low season.

Both units have just been renovated and will be available for rent on September 20,2009. Painters have changed the all-white units into something more Mexican looking. The carpenter has added bathroom and closet drawers and shelves as well as kitchen cabinets and drawers. Air conditioning is in 403 and will be in 402 in time for next years hot weather. Equipale furniture is being refurbished and new TV's have been purchased with DVD players. Cable service and high speed wireless internet has been installed. We have exclusive use of the yard area in front of both units so a wall of flowers will be going up and lots of other flowers planted. A charcoal barbeque is accessible to 403. Plants have been placed on the patio between the two units to create privacy which may also be moved if your group rents both units. For now, we are posting pictures of the beach area that takes two minutes to walk to if you are as slow as two 60-somethings! Partial ocean views from the patios, these are ground floor units.

Both units have a 2-burner cooktop, convection oven, microwave, sink, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen, beach towels and bath with shower. The beds are queen size and there is a clock radio. Check out the pictures of the area and enjoy the pictures of the units on the following pages. Contact us for availability and we have an on-site property manager (Benjamin Bennett) who will check you in and be available daily for questions, problems, tickets and suggestions so your vacation will be hassle-free.
