| Casa Flores B&B has been sold and is now the property of Steve Cross and Fernando Gomez. Congratulations to them and the changes and updating they have done already is spectacular! Jean and Walt Smith would like to thank the over 2000 individual guests who stayed with us over the last 5 1/2 years. Many of you have chosen to move to Lake Chapala and we see you all over town. Our lives are forever richer for having been innkeepers and having met so many interesting folks. Thank you all!!! We have moved only about two blocks west on Zaragoza at number 66. We are renting a nice house while we decide what to do next. The next big adventure as we described to friends who wondered why we wanted to sell. Well, part of that is certainly the condo in Puerta Vallarta that was a big part of the sale. |

| As of February 12, 2008 it is completely furnished thanks to the great help and talent of Barbara's Bazar here in Ajijic. Special thanks go to Joaquin, Pablo and of course Ricardo for turning a nice condo into a showpiece. We have chosen the name Casa Tranquila and we are now awaiting the phone, internet, SKY TV and the completion of the elevator and pool furniture. When all is ready we will be offering a great condo for your next trip to Vallarta and especially good rates for locals who can travel on short notice for unreserved dates less than a month in advance. |

| The condo is on the second floor, only 21 steps up until the elevator is working. The view of Banderas Bay is total; from the living areas, patio and master bedroom and even from the kitchen as you prepare meals or cocktails. The sunset over the water is beautiful. In season you can see dolphins and whales frolicking in front of you. |

| The living area is divided in two with sofas on one side for relaxed conversation and a 42" LCD TV on the other with a wraparound sofa that has recliners in both ends. A large dining table that can seat 6 awaits your dinner party. There is a DVD player and a bunch of movies, a CD player as well as dominos, playing cards and even a pair of binoculars. The master bedroom features a kingsize bed and separate bath with whirlpool tub. The guest bedroom has a queensize bed and its own bathroom with shower. Total square feet is about 1800. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, large refrigerator, dishwasher and all the small appliances you will need, right down to a juice squeezer. The laundry has full-size appliances and of course it is air conditioned. Parking for one car is included. |

Directly below the unit is the north end of the Malecon. All of the favorite restaurants are a ten minute stroll downhill. Coming back up we prefer a $40 peso cab ride especially after a fine meal and drinks.
